The Shadow Guards were elite enforcers of the Galactic Empire, primarily serving under Darth Vader and other high-ranking Sith or dark-side users. Clad in crimson armor similar to the Emperor's Royal Guard, their main purpose was to protect their assigned target, undertaking covert missions, and eliminating threats to the Imperial cause.
Shadow Guards were not necessarily Force-sensitive, but often were specially trained in various combat styles and wielding force pikes. These pikes were both melee weapons and energy weapons capable of delivering powerful shocks. They were often tasked with missions that required discretion and brutality.
